This is my Water inquiry that I did with Kaede

Fox Glacier Camp Reflections

On camp we went to Lake Mapourika everyone was jumping off the jetty and the boys kept pushing all of the girls into the freezing water. We were all freezing when we got in we had to put swimming caps on and me and Kaede had White swimming caps. We had to put talcum powder in our caps so that we could get them and properly when we got our we were all cold and shivery and we went in the car and got changed. After getting changed we had a filling and yummy lunch then we left.

Then we stopped at the Kiwi Center. First we sat down and listened to a lady talk about Kiwis it was very interesting. After that we got a piece of paper that has a word find and a crossword on it. We had to find the information around the Kiwi Center because there was lots of information around the place. When our turn came around we stopped doing our worksheet and went into a little room that got you use to the darkness and the we went in to see the 2 little 8 week old Kiwi. They were fighting about their food and running around they were so cute. Then we left.

When finally turned up in Fox Glacier and the first thing we did we go to the Top 10 Holiday Park. While we were waiting for the other cars to turn up we played on the playground at the Top 10. When everyone got to the Top 10 we got settled into our bunk rooms. In my bunk room I had Kaede, Cleo and Mum. I quickly got into our bunk room and got the top bunk as fast as I could. Then we got to play on the playground until tea time. We had a BBQ for tea it was delicious. Then we got ready to go to the glow worms.

We were the first ones to go on the glow worm track Kaede kept  telling everyone to turn off their torches because everyone was turning their torches on and shining the torches at the glow worms. Me and Kaede we really clumsy and fell into a ditch. At the end of the walk we went back to the Top 10 and went to bed.

The next day we woke up had breakfast which was baked beans on toast. It was really filling and that is good because we had to go on a 5 hour walk. At the start everyone was racing and then we got tired. Our first stop was at a swing bridge after we walked across the swing bridge we had morning tea. Then we were off again then we walked to the car park and some people went to the toilet. We then set off again to the Glacier we had to walk up a steep hill to get to the Glacier. It was amazing. I can not wait to see a Glacier again.

Thursday 31st March

On Thursday we had netball training my Grandma is really good at netball and my mum was at work for this training so my Grandma took our training session first we worked on our ball skills and we were pretty good at that and then we played Windows then in and out then we had a game of half court because we didn't have enough people that came to play a full court game. 

Saturday 9th April 

GRADING 

At grading we played CSC junior A and we thrashed them. Always before our netball games we go for a run up the steps and when we get to the top of the steps we stretch ourselves out so we don't get hurt. Then we run back down and train before we start. I was GA that is my position all of the time because I am really good at shooting I got about 15 goals in. In the end it was 28-3 to us.

Main star How Does India Celebrate Easter

IWell in India the way they celebrate Easter is they eat dates that's their traditional food. As everyone knows our traditional food on Easter is hot cross buns. Their Easter is celebrated with great fanfare and religious vigor.  They give gifts not Easter eggs and they usally give each other these  little traditional things. They go to church for the morning till12:00. They also make these things called ratulas on Easter Sunday. even though Easter is not as popular as Christmas the Christians would reassure Resurrection of lord Jesus Christ is observed with great gusto.

Week 9 Reflection

 Literacy- This is my water cycle I learnt how make a water cycle and what order the water cycle goes in.



Maths- This is my maths follow up and I learnt how to double and half when I`m doing big massive numbered times tables.



Writing- I learnt what would happen if I was in a storm and what it would be like if I was in a storm.
