W4 T1 Weekly Reflection

Writing- This week for writing we are still focusing on poetry. This week we are learning how to write a limerick. I wrote 3 limericks to share with you. I found it quite hard to find a word that rhymes with the topic I chose. Here are my poems.

W3 T1 Weekly Reflection

Literacy
This week for literacy we have started doing novel study about a book called Once. For novel study our teacher reads a book and we have to follow along our copy of the book with our eyes. When we finished the first chapter we stopped reading and we had to my a doc about what we already know and our first impressions of the story. After we did that we had to make a google drawing about facts about world war 2, because the book is about world war 2. We also started working on the type of poem called a Cinquain and I have done 2 of them to share with you. Here is my Drawing, My Doc and My Poems.

W2 T1 Weekly Reflection

Literacy
During the first 2 weeks back we have been doing a lot of work. We have been working on acrostic poems. It was really fun making the acrostic poems. Next time when we do acrostic poems my next step learning is to make my words more detailed. Here are 2 of my acrostic poems.

Topic
For Topic we made collages with photos that represent us. I found it hard to fit the photos all in so I had to make the drawing bigger than it already was. I liked taking photos to put on my collage. Here is my collage.
