This book is about a dog named Lassie and she got tied up at the dump by some mean teenagers! She was stuck their for more than 2 weeks and after that 2 weeks had past she couldn`t bark she was dying of thirst and hunger every time she tries to call for help it just sounded like a mouse squeaky. Than one day 2 boys walked past and heard him struggling but their Dad wouldn`t let them stop. The next day they were by themselves and they heard it again so they went down to the dump to see what was going on! When they got their they saw Lassie and let her losse. Lassie ran straight to Panters Lake and had a drink. But the river was really rough and she got dragged into it.
