Athletics Reflection

Athletics- On Wednesday we had athletics with the whole school for the first time and it was so fun! The first thing I did was the 1,200 Meters and I came 1st or 2nd in Discus witch is what we did first. I came 1st in our 100 Meter sprint witch is what we did second. After that we did High Jump and I came first and Mr Wood told me that I am holding the highest girl record in the school because I bet Libby Bolland and, she had the record of 1.20 and I got 1.22. Then we did long jump and I came second. After that we did shot put and I came 2nd with 6.01 Meters. Our last one was the 60 Meter Sprint and I came 1st again! I had fun at athletics and I cant wait until Grey District.  

Bonus Reflection

KKN- This week I have done the Kiwi Kids News Quiz again and I got 10/10 questions right! Yay.        

Typing- This week for typing I didn't do so well but I will try to beat my score next time.

Literacy Reflection Week 3

Literacy- This week I had to catch up on the things that we did last week because I was in Rarotonga. We have been learning about why the author writes books and here are my activities on what I learnt. 

Word Work-  This week for word work I did blue vows where you just do your spelling words and then  just color the vows blue

Topic Reflection Week 3

Topic- This week for topic we are learning about water safety and we have to do 3 google drawings about water safety and they are all about different types of things here are my google drawings.

Rarotonga Reflection

Last Week I went to Rarotonga and I went because my big sister got married their and she got married at the Edge Water Resort. On Sunday We spent the day at the Edge Water Resort and we swam and snorkeled. I went with my Mum, Dad, Pyper, Mya, Caleb, Shelly, Jason, Amy and Shane. On Monday We went to a resort called The Rarotongan and we also snorkeled their as well and swam. On Tuesday it was the day of the wedding and it was so fun. First we had to get our hair done and then we had to put our dresses on and get our makeup done. My and Pyper were the Flower Girls.  After they got married we went to a awesome after party and it was so fun because me Pyper Mya and Caleb got to have lots and lots of fizzy. Also because we got to dance, but the bad thing was that I had to dance with my Sisters brother Ryan. When it was nearly the end of the night I got into my warriors top and shorts. On Wednesday we went to a different resort called The Pacific and we snorkeled and swan and we also had a delicious lunch. On Thursday we hired a scooter and we went scottering down the back roads and it was awesome and then we stopped into a couple of shops and a bar. On Friday we went on a captain tama's cruise and we deep sea snorkeled and I saw 4 sharks and a sea snake. Then we went to a different island and watched a show and someone climbed up a coconut tree!! The next morning we woke up at 4:30 and went to the airport. I had and awesome holiday and I cant wait to go back.

Main Star Write About How A different Country Celebrates Christmas

I decided to do my country on Afghanistan. 

Most Afghanistan people go to Church on Christmas day on Military Bases. Also half of Afghanistan dont even celebrate Christmas because they are Muslim, and it is not a national holiday on Christmas day for them! Afghanistan people go around decorating artificial Christmas Trees. They also eat Christmas dinner and talk to relatives around the world and catch up with them. In Afghanistan you can choose weather you go to work on Christmas day because near Christmas people attack each other so they adults might be better of staying home. Many People have left Afghanistan because of the attacks that happen near Christmas.

I like this author because she is an awesome author and she writes very detailed books but they are also very long. Also her stories are all set in amazing places and that is why I love Meagan Frazer Blackmore  so much. I hope to be a good author when I grow up like her. I rate her books 10/10

Thea Stilton 30bc

Author: Thea Stilton

I like this author because she writes books that are funny and I like how the words go up and down and round and round, like say if the word said round in circles the letters would go in a circle. Also her books are very big but they dont actually have much words so they don't take long to read. That is why I like Thea Stilton.

Typing Test: I could of done way better because I have had 90% before so here are my results. 

KKNQ: This is my kkn quiz I found it quite easy. But the only question I found hard was the one about Cricket.

I like this author because he writes the most inspiring books and my favorite is Lassie because lassie is sad and happy at the end. He writes with great detailed words and also he writes big books. He also loves dogs and so do I witch is a connection with me and him. Thats why you should read his books.  

30bc Author Meredith Costain

Author: Meredith Costain 

Why I like this author: Because she writes a series of books called Ella Diaries and my name is Ella so that is pretty cool. Also I have read all of the whole series of her books and they are awesome. My favorite is Double Dare You because she meets a really mean girl at her school but then she moves away and it is much better. My second favorite is Dreams Come True, because Ella dreams to meet her favorite singer and she is coming to her town and she can't wait. My third favorite is Ella's Christmas because she goes on a holiday to a lodge in the middle of nowhere and it turns out her friend is their to, so they have lots of fun. I hope you read some of Meredith Costain's books!
