Shape Poem

This Week I have done a Shape poem. First I had to do 5 different Shape Poems in my writing book, and then I had to pick my favorite one to put on a A4 Peice  of paper and I picked my dog one. A shape poem is a poem that you draw anything and then you write a poem about the thing that you drew. Here is a picture of my Shape Poem!

Bake Something and give it to someone Main Star

This Term Another One of my Main Stars was to bake something and give it to someone. I decided to bake cookies for my neighbor because she is quite old and she doesn't get much gifts and she is really nice. Here is the step by step process of me baking the cookies!

I didn`t get a photo of me putting the cookies in the oven but here is me waiting for them to cook.

How To Be A Good Friend Main Star

One Of the Main Stars this term was Make a mini book for junior students teaching them how to be a good friend. I made a book with lots of tips about how to be a good friend here is my book. Sorry the photos aren't very good I will bring the book in tomorrow.

Picking up Rubbish Around The Streets

Today I decided to to the Main Star Help out your community by picking up rubbish. You could clean up your street, local beach, sports field etc. I picked up rubbish around my house and on my street. I only have 1 photo because my Mums phone went flat when I was in the process of picking up the rubbish. I was very impressed about the lack of rubbish on my street.

I got a Raku!!

This week I got my Rakau witch means that I can go anywhere is the school to do my work! Rakau is tree in Maori, and I earned my Rakau by  working really hard in class and getting all of my work done. I get to choose what I want to work on when I want to and I also get to work with anyone I want to. I am really exited that I got my Rakau. River and Rodeshar have their Pihinga witch means they are nearly up to their Rakau. Here is a photo with me and my full licence!

Stem and Leaf Graphs

Numeracy- This week we are learning about stem and leaf graphs. We have gone out to the basketball court and had shot 30 hoops to see how many we could get in I got 23 in! We also had to write about what stem and leaf graphs are. Here is my work and also some photos of us shooting hoops. There is also a photo of all of the scores that we got in a stem and leaf graph!

Help Out Do Chores At Home

I Always Help out at home but the chores I decided to do were Do the dishes, make my bed in the morning and, clean the lounge up. Here are some photos of me doing those things so that it shows you that I actually did it!

5 Act Of Kindnesses For A Week Main Stars

Thursday- I Sat Under The walkway with my friend Kaede because she forgot her hat. 

Friday- I helped Rylan get a bee sting out of her foot when she got stung. 

Monday- I took Katelin R to the sick bay because she fell over and grazed her knee.

Tuesday- At netball trails I helped Kaede because she fell on her hip and had a massive bruise on her hip!

Wednesday- I played with Katelin because she friend Ruby was on camp.

Visual Mihi

This week I did a visual mihi and I added lots more things then I did last year, because I have learnt my big mihi. This isn't my really big mihi but I added some of the things that I know from my big mihi. Then we had to screen castify it. Here is the link to my screen castify.
